The terms for using gudretreats.com and joining a GŪD Essence retreat — booking, payments, and cancellations.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of gudretreats.com and your participation in retreats and events offered by GŪD Retreats ("GŪD Retreats," "GŪD Essence," "we," "us"). By using our website, creating an account, or expressing interest in or registering for a retreat, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

Who we are

GŪD Retreats curates wellness, culture, and adventure experiences. Our promise is simple: feel good, do good, be GŪD.

Your account

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Retreats, events & itineraries

Retreat descriptions, itineraries, dates, pricing, and activities are offered in good faith and may change. Some activities carry inherent risk (for example, travel, hiking, ziplining, and water or mountain excursions). Participation in any activity is voluntary and at your own risk, and you may choose to opt out of any activity.

Registration, booking & payment

Some experiences are currently offered on an interest basis — you can register your interest, and booking and payment open at a later date. When booking is open, prices are shown in U.S. dollars, and any deposit, balance, and payment schedule will be presented to you before you commit. Unless clearly stated, flights and travel to the retreat location are not included.

Cancellations, changes & refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are specific to each retreat and will be provided to you at the time of booking. We may reschedule or modify an experience — including for reasons beyond our reasonable control, such as weather, travel disruptions, or other force-majeure events — and we will communicate any material changes to you as soon as we can.

Health, eligibility & assumption of risk

Retreats are for guests aged 21 and older. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and medically able to participate, for consulting your own physician where appropriate, and for disclosing any conditions relevant to your safety. We strongly recommend that all guests obtain travel and medical insurance. By participating, you acknowledge and assume the ordinary risks of travel and activity.

Travel, local laws & conduct

You are responsible for your own travel documents, visas, and compliance with the laws of the places you visit. Any activity referenced in our experiences takes place only where it is legal and in accordance with local law; we do not provide, sell, or facilitate any controlled substance. We ask every guest to treat fellow travelers, hosts, and communities with respect, and we may remove a guest whose conduct endangers or unreasonably disrupts others, without refund.

Intellectual property

The GŪD Retreats name, logo, site content, photography, and materials are owned by us or our licensors and may not be used without permission.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GŪD Retreats is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or participation in an experience, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable experience.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above; your continued use of the site or services means you accept the updated terms.
